Bishop Fred Ethan Harris, Jr., Senior Pastor of Oasis Christian Ministries International; the man of humble beginnings now leads one of the area's fastest growing congregations. With the vision of empowering all people to know God through life changing experiences from the inside out, Bishop Harris strives to minister to the "unreached". In other words, those people who have either been overlooked or those who are discouraged and disillusioned by traditional church. Bishop Harris is not only an anointed preacher and teacher but he is also a gifted musician and psalmist. As a young man he served as a musician for his church at Richmond Heights Church of God and then he went on to serve as musician in the St. Louis Metropolitan area and the States of Missouri, Illinois and Texas. He was called to the pastorate in July 1984 and has served as pastor of the New Bethel Baptist Church, Bethlehem Baptist Church, and Springfield Baptist Church.

Pastor Harris received early Theological Training at the Missouri Baptist College, Creve Coeur, MO., 1974-1978. He was licensed to preach the Gospel in St. Louis, Missouri on September 8, 1974 at the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, (Late) Reverend Dr. R. J. Glasco, Pastor; received his Certificate of Ordination from the Olivet Missionary Baptist Church (1984), (Late) Reverend Dr. J.C. Davis, Pastor; completed prescribed courses at Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis Missouri (1994) and the Doctorate of Divinity was conferred upon him from Glad Tidings Bible College in St. Louis Missouri (1995). Bishop Harris served as Overseer of District #4, North Shore District of St. Mark Covenant Church Fellowship, International under the leadership of (Late) Bishop W. L. Jordan, Ph.D. In August 2007 Bishop Harris was consecrated to the Office of Bishop and in January 2008 promoted to Office of Regional Bishop..
